Fepi Farina
1988, Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
Artist. He studied at the School of Fine Arts at the National University of Rosario. He graduated from the School of Animators taught by the Rosario Audiovisual Center.
His practice combines digital media, translating those explorations into physical supports through prints, editions, painting, installations, and other procedures. Humor, irony, strangeness, and ugliness appear in his work, in dialogue with art history and contemporary issues, and in his recent processes he has also incorporated work with artificial intelligences.
In 2025, he presented his solo exhibition Estafa piramidal, curated by Georgina Ricci, at CRUDO (Rosario). In 2024, Nocaut at CRUDO (Rosario). In 2021, he presented Como dibujar camellos at Silencio (Mar del Plata, Argentina). In 2018, he held two solo exhibitions: Volcán at Espacio 1670 (Rosario, Argentina) and No tan abstracto (Rosario, Argentina).
He also participated in group exhibitions, among which the following stand out: El cuerpo con letra entra, curated by Manuel Quaranta (CRUDO, Rosario, 2021); Jetlag, curated by Yuyo Gardiol, with a text by Hernán Camoletto (CRUDO, Rosario, 2020); Trabajar nunca, an exhibition conceived by Pauline Fondevila (Bon Scott, Rosario, 2019); Mínimo, curated by Yuyo Gardiol (La Sala, Tucumán, 2016); Silencio, curated by Clarisa Appendino (Fundación OSDE, Rosario, 2016); Atracción nómade (CRUDO, Rosario, 2015); and Souvenir dos sonhos (Argentine Consulate, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2013).
In 2022, he was invited to lead the workshop Taller de PAINT. Collage digital, dibujo y caos at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rosario, במסגרת the exhibition Espacio insuficiente by Damián Monti Falicoff. That same year, he was part of the program Escuela Prestada at the Escuela Municipal Musto (Rosario). In 2021, he completed the artist residency Casa Intermitente in Mar del Plata, Argentina. In 2018, he participated in the artist residency Manta, held in the city of San Martín de los Andes, Argentina. During 2013 and 2014, he was invited by Associação Chave Mestra to take part in residencies in Rio de Janeiro. In 2013, he won the intensive training grant Proyecto Viamonte in Rosario.
